Nussbaumer and Clarke Consulting Engineers/Land Surveyors, of Buffalo and Dunkirk, promoted John Raimondo to office manager/project surveyor and Adam Hughes to project manager in the firms newly acquired North Tonawanda office. Raimondo has been with the firm for three years. Hughes was previously employed by Graf Land Surveying for seven years prior to its acquisition by Nussbaumer.

The New York State Office of Court Administration appointed Randolph C. Oppenheimer to the 8th Judicial District’s Roster of Alternative Dispute Resolution Neutrals. This appointment qualifies Oppenheimer as an approved commercial litigation mediator. Oppenheimer is special counsel for Damon and Morey.

Classifieds Plus, a multimedia classified advertising distributor located in Williamsville, named Michael Stanek chief executive officer. Stanek, a CPA, is the former CEO of Northern Reflections.

Watts Architecture and Engineering, an architecture and engineering firm, named Kristofer T. Straus a civil engineer in the firm’s Civil and Structural Engineering Department. Straus has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

The board of Palladian Muscular Skeletal Health named John J. Donahue chairman of the managed-care services company. Before joining Palladian’s board, Donahue co-founded National Imaging Associates (NIA). Donahue succeeds Keven E. Cichocki who was elected vice chairman of the board and will continue to serve as chief clinical officer. Palladian also named Paul J. Candino vice chairman. Candino will continue to serve as president and chief executive officer of the company.

Complete Heat technician Dave Dombrowski recently completed the 2008 Napoleon Fireplaces technical and sales training. The certification complements his 17 years of experience in the construction trades. Dombrowski is the Hearth Shop manager at Complete Heat.

All nine locations of Cattaraugus County Bank are conducting a “Back To School Supply Drive” through Sept. 12. The drive is intended to provide area school children with supplies they need, but cannot afford. The bank will distribute the supplies to local schools after they are in session in September.

GEICO insurance company was named to the Ward’s 50 Benchmark Group, a prestigious industry ranking based on financial results, for the 18th consecutive year. GEICO, which has a service center in Amherst, provides auto insurance coverage for nearly 8.5 million policyholders and insures more than 14.4 million vehicles.

CBRE/Buffalo, a Los Angeles-headquartered commercial real estate services firm, negotiated both the leasing and repositioning of Towne Gardens Plaza with existing and new tenants. CBRE/Buffalo secured multiple interested parties, and ultimately finalized a lease with Lakeshore Behavioral Health for 4,500 square feet. Towne Gardens Plaza, owned by Brookly-based Towne Gardens, is located at 421-463 William St. at Jefferson, has up to 50,000 square feet currently available for lease.
