Canisius College appointed Kirsten L. Reppert director of the annual fund. Reppert joined the college in 2003 as assistant director of the annual fund. She holds a bachelor’s degree in politics and constitutional law from Juniata College, a master’s degree in communication and leadership from Canisius College and is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from Canisius.

The Bank of Castile named Dr. Steve Stoddard, a partner in the Perry Veterinary Clinic, to its board of directors. Dr. Stoddard is a Cornell University graduate who has been associated with the clinic for 23 years. The Bank of Castile is a community bank with 15 offices in the five-county Western New York region.

Curbell Electronics named Shawn Heeter senior manufacturing engineering manager. Heeter most recently served as manager of manufacturing engineering at Pulse Technology. He has a bachelor’s in industrial technology from Buffalo State College. Curbell Electronics, a subsidiary of Curbell Inc., is an Orchard Park-headquartered supplier of hospital and health care products for nurse call systems, patient monitoring, beds, and fall management.

The Buffalo World Trade Association named Tehsheng Ma to its board of directors. Ma is an associate in Jaeckle Fleischmann and Mugel’s Business and Corporate and Immigration Practice Groups.

••• Erdman Anthony, a Buffalo engineering firm, named Paul C. Case a senior engineer/project manager in its Civil Engineering Department. A former Erdman Anthony co-op student, Case has since worked as a project civil engineer and senior civil engineer/ certified project manager with top firms in the Buffalo area and Jacksonville, Florida. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and an A. A. S. in both construction and surveying engineering technology from Alfred State College.

The John W. Danforth Co., a mechanical contracting firm located in Tonawanda, appointed Andrew M. Kirsch design build engineer. Kirsch completed his education at Alfred State College and Rochester Institute of Technology, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology.

Hunter’s Hope Foundation is committed to increase public awareness of Krabbe Disease and other leukodystrophies, as well as to increase the likelihood of early detection and treatment.

Lehigh Construction Group in Orchard Park and Picone Construction Corp. in Williamsville were presented Certificates of Commendation for Safety Excellence by the Associated General Contractors of America. The names of the recipients were announced by the General Building Contractors of New York State, the New York State Building Chapter of the AGC. The award is based on safety statistics required by OSHA.

The Martin Group, a Buffalo-headquartered strategic branding and creative marketing agency, won its first national ADDY Silver Award from the American Advertising Federation for a packaging campaign created for Face Time Cosmetics, a New York City-based startup company founded by Buffalo native, Linsey Snyder.

KJ Electric, a Syracuse-headquartered electric motor distribution and repair service with branches in Buffalo, Albany, Binghamton, Rochester and Utica, has formed a partnership with Dutchi Motors, Netherlands to be the first and exclusive stocking distributor of Dutchi Metric, IEC and ATEX motors for sales and delivery throughout the United States and Canada.
