State helps to fund 3 track projects

Three rail projects in Western New York will receive a combined $2.8 million in state funding, the state Department of Transportation said.
The state is awarding $1.1 million to the Arcade & Attica Railroad Corp. for rail rehabilitation in Wyoming County.
Falls Railroad Co. will receive $950,000 to rehabilitate a bridge over the Erie Canal in Lockport, and Buffalo Southern Railroad will receive $725,000 for track rehabilitation and installation in Erie County.
The state announced about $20 million in funding for rail infrastructure projects around the state.
