Roswell Park Cancer Institute’s
Dr. Michael Higgins was awarded a
$38,415 pediatric oncology research
grant by St. Baldrick’s Foundation,
a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research. Higgins’ research project is titled, “Transgenic Analysis of a Putative Wilms’ Tumor Oncogene.” Wilms’ tumor is a cancer of the kidney affecting children.
