Cattaraugus County Bank appointed Michael Wimer to its board of directors. Wimer joined the Little Valley-based bank as its president in March. The board now consists of eight members.
M&T Bank promoted Heather Brodbeck to administrative vice president. Brodbeck is currently systems manager in the central technology division. She received a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University and an MBA from Brigham Young University.
Daemen College named Gail Mitchell to its board of trustees. Mitchell is assistant U.S. attorney for the Western District of New York.
Univera Healthcare, a health insurance company headquartered in Amherst, and Lifetime Health Medical Group, a primary care practice with 10 locations in the Buffalo and Rochester areas, were named two of the “Healthiest Companies in America” by Interactive Health. The 2013 list recognizes 68 companies and marks the seventh annual list released by Interactive Health, a provider of outcomes-based, health-management solutions. The companies were cited for taking a strategic approach to encourage employee wellness. Lifetime Health is an affiliate of the Lifetime Healthcare Companies., which is Univera’s corporate parent.
The Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village was chosen to participate in the 2014 Heritage Preservation’s Conservation Assessment Program. CAP, supported through a cooperative agreement with the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services, provides funds for professional conservation and preservation specialists to identify the conservation needs of collections and historic buildings and recommend ways to correctly improve collections and building conditions.
Allstate exclusive agency owners Annette Winder and Samuel Mezzio qualified for the Summit Club, a statewide initiative designed to honor agency owners who are dedicated to growing their local business, maintaining a presence in the community and improving the overall customer experience. Winder has been an Allstate agent for 25 years; the agency is in Hamburg. Mezzio has been an Allstate agent for six years; the agency is in Getzville.
