Bruce Nisbet, president and chief executive officer of Spectrum Human Services and president of Health Home Partners of WNY, was elected a distinguished practitioner and fellow of the National Academies of Practice, a Washington, D.C.-based organization that is chartered by and advises Congress on health care practice and delivery. He will be inducted at a black-tie ceremony April 5 in Washington.

Goldberg Segalla founding partner Thomas F. Segalla was selected to receive the James W. Conway Award from the Defense Association of New York. He will receive the award April 24 at the association’s Pinckney Awards dinner.

Sharon Prise Azurin, a partner with Phillips Lytle, delivered a presentation at a Bar Association of Erie County Health Care Law Committee meeting recently. Azurin provided an overview of the New York State Bar Association’s Health Law Section meeting, which took place during the association’s annual meeting in New York City.

Astronics Corp.’s wholly owned subsidiary, Astronics Luminescent Systems, was awarded a multiyear contract to provide exterior lighting for the Boeing 737 MAX. Astronics will supply a full suite of products that provide the position, navigation and anti-collision lighting functions for the aircraft. The lights will utilize light-emitting diodes to provide an industry-leading combination of increased reliability and reduced power consumption.
