YMCA Buffalo Niagara appointed Jeff Robbins aquatics director at the Independent Health Family Branch YMCA and Brian Paonessa Wellness director at the Southtowns Family YMCA. Robbins has been the head lifeguard at the Eastside Family YMCA in Rochester since 2013. He graduated from SUNY Fredonia. Paonessa was with Niagara Health and Fitness in Lewiston. He is a SUNY Buffalo State graduate.

Kleinfelder was previously the customer service representative at the Quieter Home’s Demonstration Home, a collaborative effort by SKM Group, Buffalo Niagara International Airport and C&S Industries.

The General Motors Foundation and employee volunteers from GM plants in Tonawanda and Lockport are partnering with Habitat for Humanity to help finish a new home on Fox Street in Buffalo for a military veteran. The Buffalo project is part of a series of new homes and improvements across the nation to support U.S. military service members and veterans, made possible by a grant of more than $1.45 million from the GM Foundation to Habitat for Humanity International.
