North American Breweries, an entity which includes Buffalo-based Labatt USA, has named a new chief executive officer.
Kris Sirchio will take over the leadership duties for Rochester-based NAB effective April 14. Rich Lozyniak, the CEO since 2009, resigned at the end of March.
NAB was formed in early 2009 by KPS Capital Partners, when KPS acquired Labatt USA, the High Falls Brewing Co. in Rochester – maker of the Genesee and Dundee brands – and a license for Seagram’s Escapes and Smooth brands. KPS later sold NAB to its current owner, a Costa Rican brewer. NAB has about 55 employees in Buffalo.
Sirchio most recently served as an executive at Brown-Forman, which makes and markets alcoholic beverages including Jack Daniels.
