The Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus will host a career fair and networking event today for potential job-seekers to learn more about careers in Western New York’s growing health care community.
The career forum, scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. at 640 Ellicott St. in the Thomas R. Beecher Jr. Innovation Center, will include presentations from member institutions such as Kaleida Health, University at Buffalo and Roswell Park Cancer Institute, among others.
Attendees will have the chance to hear about potential career paths within the companies from Medical Campus employees. Local training and workforce organizations will also be on hand to match job-seekers with skill-building programs.
With more than 12,000 employees across its 85 private and public member companies, the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus is one of the fastest-growing employers in Western New York.
It plans to add another 5,000 jobs by 2017.
