Koike Aronson is preparing to fill a $14 million order, the largest order in the company’s U.S. history.
The Arcade manufacturer declined to identify the Middle East customer that placed the order, citing a confidentiality agreement.
Over a 10-month period starting in June, Koike Aronson will make 138 welding machines that the customer will use to produce storage tanks.
Koike Aronson has 148 employees and expects to add four or five employees to support its growth, said Jerry Leary, Koike Aronson’s president and chief executive officer. Japan-based Koike Sanso Kogyo bought the Arcade operation in 1985.
