Delaware North Cos. will pour $70 million over two years into TD Garden, the Boston arena it owns that is home to the Bruins and Celtics.

Buffalo-based Delaware North said the “comprehensive” upgrade will include a new ProShop, redesigned modern concourses, renovation of the Legends Club, and upgraded technology infrastructure.

“With the TD Garden being nearly 20 years old, we recognize that these renovations are necessary and we are confident that they will transform the fan experience from the moment a patron enters the building,” said Charlie Jacobs, principal with Delaware North Cos. and the Bruins, in a statement.

Delaware North owns TD Garden, and Jeremy Jacobs Sr. owns the Bruins.
