Foit-Albert Associates, Architecture, Engineering and Surveying named Michael J. Pohl vice president. Pohl, chief of survey, has been with the firm for 16 years. He graduated from Paul Smith College.

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center appointed Susan V. Martin director of Women’s Services. A graduate of Niagara County Community College and Niagara University, Martin worked in the labor and delivery unit at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston.

The Mac Groups appointed Ginger Geoffery director of social marketing. Geoffery previously was morning and noon news anchor at WKBW. She graduated from the University of Florida.

Trocaire College promoted Richard Linn to vice president for academic affairs and planning, Michael LaFever to chief administrative officer for administration and auxiliary services, and Jack Hudack to chief financial officer. Linn received his Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico. LaFever earned his Ed.D. from the University at Buffalo. Hudack graduated from St. Bonaventure University.

Southtowns Radiology appointed Dr. Zeeshan Qureshi and Dr. Stephanie Soehnlein to its radiology staff. Qureshi is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and Kean University. Soehnlein earned concurrent MD and MBA degrees from the University at Buffalo and holds a degree in chemistry from Canisius College.

The Belle Center, a human services agency located on the Lower West Side of Buffalo, appointed Lucy A. Candelario executive director. Candelario is a University at Buffalo graduate.

McGuire Development Company promoted Vito Picone to senior director of business development for its real estate services group. Picone was director of business development.

Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak named Aaron Adoff and William Sherlock associates. Adoff, a former medic with the Army, is a SUNY Buffalo State graduate and earned his J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law. Sherlock is a UB graduate, and earned his J.D. from the UB School of Law.

The Erie County Medical Center appointed Dr. Michael R. Cummings interim executive director for behavioral health integration. Cummings graduated from Cornell University and received his M.D. from the University at Buffalo.

Northtowns Orthopedics named Samantha Jaus a physician assistant at the practice. Jaus is a recent graduate of Daemen College, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

D’Youville College named Mark A. Pavone director of graduate admissions. Pavone is a Houghton College graduate and has a master’s degree from Roberts Wesleyan College.

EduKids Early Childhood Centers named Kara Ryan director for the Hamburg Center. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority manager of labor relations, Louis R. Giardina received the William L. Holcomb Award from the New York State Public Employer Labor Relations Association.
