A Snyder man who competed in the finals of the World Championship of Public Speaking last weekend did not finish among the top three.
Kevin McCue, a corporate trainer for Catholic Health System, was one of nine finalists in the Toastmasters International competition, held in Palm Desert, Calif., on Saturday. He had advanced from a group of 81 semifinalists, after winning contests at the club, area, division and district levels.
The winner of the competition was David Henderson of San Antonio.
