Products from Choco-Logo Confectionery Design, a chocolate factory and retail store on Broadway Street, were featured on a segment of Live! With Regis and Kelly on Thursday.
Kristin Van Ogtrop, managing editor of Real Simple magazine, dropped in at the national television talk show on ABC to share her favorite “gifts that give back.” Featured were Choco- Logo’s Sea Salt Turtles, Popcorn Extravaganza and Stimulus Bar candy bars, 100 percent of the net proceeds from which go to HELP USA.
HELP USA is a national nonprofit that helps homeless people and others in need become self-sufficient. The HELP USA products are packaged and labeled by residents of the Hickory Street Apartments, a service-enriched apartment complex renovated by HELP USA and located just blocks from Choco-Logo.
