AAA Western and Central New York appointed Brenda Chiarilli Web content manager. Most recently, Chiarilli served as the global tax communications manager for Deloitte& Touche, in London, U. K. She holds a MBA from Roosevelt University in Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College.
The R. F. Peck Company, a Rochester- based commercial HVAC products manufacturer’s representative serving Upstate New York and Vermont, named Joel Erway a sales engineer. Erway, formally with Clark Patterson Associates, graduated from RIT with a degree in mechanical engineering. He will serve as an outside salesman for the greater Buffalo area.
Goldberg Segalla partner Christopher J. Belter was named chair of the Construction Law Committee of DRI-the Voice of the Defense Bar at its recent annual meeting in Chicago. Belter will serve a two-year term. He previously served the Committee as marketing chair, program chair, and vice chair.

The Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation board of directors, a subsidiary agency of Empire State Development Corporation, approved the following contract agreements for construction work and funding related to future waterfront and inner harbor redevelopment: Zoladz Construction Company, Alden, was selected to complete the second phase of Memorial Auditorium block demolition and site preparation; Skydeck Corporation, Buffalo, was awarded temporary operation of the Donovan building lot for special event parking; Decommissioning and Environmental Management Company of West Seneca was selected to conduct a public sale of Aud orange seats; Niagara Frontier Transit Authority scheduled repayment of $11,803,783 in Federal Transit Administration funds originally designated for Buffalo inner harbor work in 2004.
