Previously with Jaeckle Fleischmann and Mugel, Beiter, Van Vessem, and Burkart have extensive experience representing employers involved in various labor and employment matters including collective bargaining, contract administration and employment discrimination law. Beiter is a graduate of Canisius College and the University at Buffalo School of Law. He also is a graduate of the Leadership Buffalo Program. Van Vessem earned his bachelor’s and JD at UB. A graduate of the Cornell University, Burkart also earned her JD at UB.

Brown and Kelly partners Donald B. Eppers, Kenneth A. Krajewski, Andrew D. Merrick, Joseph M. Schnitter and Lisa T. Sofferin were awarded the Super Lawyer designation in the 2010 Upstate New York Edition of Super Lawyers. A graduate of Erie Community College currently studying for his bachelor’s degree at Buffalo State College, he is a NYS certified teacher, an OSHA 500 trainer, and is certified by the Residential Construction Academy to teach residential electrical and electrical principles.

Rucker, operation manager for Wage and Investment, is celebrating 40 years of service with the government. Kowalczyk, customer service quality lead, has worked for the federal government for 19 years.
