SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a driver and his passenger have suffered only minor injuries when their sport utility vehicle slammed into two homes in Syracuse and partially landed in the basement of the second house.
Police tell The Post-Standard of Syracuse (http://bit.ly/17HaqLN ) that a 46-year-old man was driving the SUV Monday night when he suffered a medical condition. The SUV hit the front porch of a home, then continued until it hit the neighboring vacant house, where it partially broke through into the basement.
No one in the family living in the first home were injured.
Police say the driver and the 42-year-old Syracuse woman riding with him were treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
Police say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
