BETHANY, N.Y. (AP) — Scores of firefighters have spent several hours getting a blaze under control after it destroyed three buildings at a western New York farm.
Local media outlets report that the blaze broke out late Thursday night in a large storage building at Baskin Livestock in the Genesee County town of Bethany, between Rochester and Buffalo.
Emergency officials say more than 20 fire departments from a three-county area were called in battle the blaze, which spread to two other buildings on the property. Crews fought the fire for more than three hours before getting it under control early Friday morning.
Fire officials say the buildings housed machinery that had been replaced after a fire about three years ago.
No one was injured in the latest fire, which is being investigated.
