LOCKPORT, N.Y. (AP) — Yahoo is breaking ground on new data and customer care centers in western New York.
The projects announced earlier this year are expected to add 115 jobs to Yahoo's operations in Niagara County.
Executives from the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company and elected officials are scheduled to take part in a groundbreaking at the site on Friday.
Yahoo says expansion in western New York will provide additional capacity and customer care service. The Internet company already has a data center in Lockport, which opened in 2010.
