WILLIAMSON, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say four young people are hospitalized after the car they were in crashed and rolled over several times on a rural road outside Rochester.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office tells WHEC-TV (http://bit.ly/183BgHt ) that a 20-year-old man was driving the car late Wednesday night when he lost control of the vehicle, which came to rest in a ditch in the town of Williamson, on Lake Ontario 15 miles east of Rochester.
Deputies say the driver and his three passengers were all taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Two of the four have serious injuries.
Police say the driver, a 20-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man are all from Williamson. The fourth person is a 22-year-old man from Rochester.
Deputies say speed may have been a factor. The investigation is ongoing.
