Two brothers are set to bring their magical circus act to Grand Island Memorial Library on Thursday.

Danny and Joey Hamilton, of Lancaster, will suit up in their respective cowboy and clown costumes to present their Charlie and Checkers show, which features magic, juggling and comedy.

The show begins at 2 p.m. Thursday in the library, 1715 Bedell Road. No registration is necessary and all ages are welcome, but children age 5 and younger should be accompanied by an adult.

DeGlopper Post 9249, Veterans of Foreign Wars, will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday to benefit its cancer aid and research program in memory of Donna Briggs, a post officer who died last October. Tickets are $6 from 4 to 5 p.m. and $7 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
