Roswell Park Cancer Institute appointed Dr. Anthony L. Picone medical director. Picone, a cardiothoracic surgeon, has been at the cancer institute since April, 2009. Picone is also an attending physician at Kaleida Health Care System; a surgeon at Erie County Medical Center; and is on active staff at Sisters Hospital.

Niagara County Community College named Eunice Bellinger vice president of academic affairs. Bellinger most recently was the executive vice president of academic affairs and provost at Genesee Community College. She has a Ph.D. and an Ed.M. the University at Buffalo, and a bachelor’s degree from Niagara University.

Aurora Optometric Group named Amy Suda a partner. She is a Geneseo State College graduate who earned her doctor of optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.

The Ross Eye Institute appointed Dr. Gareth Lema a retina specialist. Lema earned his MD and completed a PhD at the University at Buffalo.

WNY Asset Management appointed Joseph P. Starinsky director of research. Starinsky was chief investment officer at Northeast Retirement Plan Advisors. He is a Fordham University graduate.

Dopkins Wealth Management named J. Patrick Bohen investment adviser. Bohen was with Merrill Lynch in Boston. He is a Canisius College graduate.

The Quilted Squirrel appointed Eric Bodamer a senior designer and Alyssa VanDurme an account executive. Bodamer graduated from the Pratt Institute. VanDurme earned a master’s degree from St. Bonaventure University.

Lumsden & McCormick appointed Ryan G. Barnes and Steven L. Hoover staff accountants. Barnes holds a bachelor’s and master’s from the University of Wisconsin. Hoover is a graduate from Niagara University with a masters in professional accounting.

The Buffalo Medical Group named Tricia Sauer a registered dietitian. Sauer is a SUNY Buffalo State graduate.

CIR Electrical Construction Corporation named Darrin Harzewski business development–renewable energy consultant. Harzewski is a Keuka College graduate with an MBA from Medaille College.

Enterprise Charter School named Heidi Salva CEO. Salva was director of instructional services with the Depew Union Free School District. She attended Fredonia State College for her bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Buffalo Office Interiors promoted Noelle L. Saladin to director of operations and design. Saladin graduated from SUNY Buffalo State.

Kloss, Stenger and LoTempio appointed Andrew J. Olek an associate attorney and Rebecca A. Bylewski of counsel. Olek and Bylewski both received their J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law.

The Northtowns Boys & Girls Clubs named Nicole Martin assistant director of development. Martin graduated from the University at Buffalo.
