The University at Buffalo men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams juggled their lineups to give several swimmers the chance to compete in events outside of their usual races in a sweep of Niagara on Saturday at Alumni Arena Natatorium.

The UB men (2-1) defeated the Purple Eagles, 147-80, while the women (4-0) won, 139-96.

Brittney Kuras won a pair of events for the UB women – the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:28.47 and 100 breaststroke in 1:09.42.

Also for the Bulls, Marissa Murphy won the 100 butterfly in a season best 57.77 while Rachel Eckert had a season best 352.58 in winning the 3-meter diving competition.

Shawn Hoffman swept the men’s diving competitions, winning on the 1-meter board with 291.58 points and a season-best 352.58 on the 3-meter board.

Niagara’s Lindsey Jackson won the 200 women’s individual medley (2:17.62) while on the men’s side Carl Roycroft won the 100 breaststroke (1:01.06) and Shane Baxter won the 100 backstroke (52.32).
