Three new board members have been elected to the Evans-Brant Chamber of Commerce.
Robert Biondi, Nancy Furey and Terra Perry were elected to the nine-member board during the chamber’s annual meeting and mixer on Tuesday.
Biondi is one of the new owners of The Angola Pennysaver; Furey has spent her career in the credit union business, including managing the Lake Shore Federal Credit Union, until her recent retirement; and Perry is an assistant vice president for the Evans banks and assistant manager of the branch at Beach and Erie Roads.
Their terms run from 2013 to 2015.

-- The Lake Shore Central School Board will hold a work session at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Elementary School, 6745 Erie Road, Derby.
-- The Evans Town Board will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Town Hall, 8787 Erie Road. An agenda meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
The board has scheduled public hearing for 7:10 p.m. to hear comments on rezoning less than a half-acre parcel at 6778 Erie Road from motor service to general business. Richard Schaper Jr., of Erie Road, wants to operate a liquor store on the property.
-- Lake Shore students in grades Kindergarten to 8th grade will have half days on Thursday and Friday for parent-teacher conferences. Grades 6 through 8 will be dismissed at 11 a.m. Grades K to 5 will be dismissed at noon.
