A West Seneca man who got stuck in the mud in his four-wheel drive vehicle ended up with bigger problems Wednesday afternoon when he allegedly took someone else’s vehicles without permission to try to tow his vehicle out of the muck.

Nicholas Wilkey, 20, was arrested about 4 p.m. in a muddy patch off Clinton Street by West Seneca Police Officers Paul Daley and John Luterek, who accused Wilkey of trying to use two other vehicles parked on the property at 4534 Clinton St. to pull his vehicle out of the mud.

Wilkey was charged with two counts each of unauthorized used of a motor vehicle and criminal mischief, as well as a single count of trespassing. He was ordered to West Seneca Town Court on Nov. 27.
