An Albion man was jailed after allegedly calling his estranged girlfriend 127 times and writing her at least eight times, despite a court order barring him from having any contact with her, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office reported Sunday.

Brian R. Beach, 41, of West Park Street, was charged with 135 counts of second-degree criminal contempt, deputies said.

The alleged communications occurred between June 28 and Oct. 21, while Beach was an inmate in the Genesee County Jail. In this incident, Beach was arraigned in Batavia City Court and jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
