The Erie County Sheriff’s Office announced three drunken driving arrests over the weekend.
Jack F. Wood, 62, of Sardinia, was arrested about 4:50 a.m. Sunday on the Aurora Expressway near Transit Road in Elma. His car was originally spotted going the wrong way near the Union Road exit and narrowly missed colliding with several other vehicles but did strike a guardrail and mile marker, deputies said. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, reckless endangerment and speeding, and posted a blood-alcohol content of .11 percent, deputies added.
Jonathan G. Goulding, 21, of Depew, was stopped on Transit Road in Clarence about 3 a.m. Sunday and charged with DWI after posting a .13 percent blood-alcohol reading, deputies said.
At 5 p.m. Saturday, Paul R. Mitrowski, 46, of Sardinia, was arrested on Route 16 in the town, deputies said. Mitrowski, who has prior DWI convictions from 2005 and 2008, refused a breath test and was charged with felony DWI.
