Corey McIntyre has long had a need for speed.
The Buffalo Bills’ fullback grew up in Indiantown, Fla., about a three-hour drive from the home of stock car racing, Daytona International Speedway.
His dream job if he were not playing football?
“I’d probably be in motorsports somewhere,” he said. “I always wanted to, but I never had the opportunity to when I was a kid because we weren’t really financially able to.”
Since he’s been a pro, McIntyre has been able to somewhat fulfill those dreams. He’s taken part in the NASCAR Experience at Daytona, which put him behind the wheel of a stock car.
“I’ve always been interested in all kinds of racing,” he said. “I’ve been to Daytona, Talladega, Atlanta, Homestead.
“And drag racing, too. I just like going from A to B that fast. That’s what gets me.”
