LEWISTON – Lewiston Fire Company No. 2, serving the Colonial Village area and Tuscarora Indian Reservation, will begin its observance of Fire Prevention Week with an open house from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at 1705 Saunders Settlement Road.

The program will include demonstrations of rescue equipment, fire extinguishers, thermal imaging cameras and hose attacks. A sprinkler company will demonstrate its state-of-the-art sprinkler systems.

The crash truck from the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, smoke trailer from the City of Niagara Falls and the Niagara County fire investigation trailer will be on display. There also will be fire truck rides and hands-on activities for people of all ages.
