A Tonawanda man was arrested on several charges after violating an order of protection held by a Clarence resident, according to State Police.
Julian L. Jones, 24, was found hiding in the attic of a Clarence home late Wednesday. Troopers went there at about 11:30 p.m., after an altercation involving Jones, who allegedly attempted to prevent his victim from calling police.
Jones was charged with a felony count of criminal contempt for violating an order of protection, a misdemeanor count of criminal mischief and a violation charge of harassment. Following arraignment before Clarence Town Justice Michael B. Powers, Jones was sent to the Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
