Wednesday, 7:30 p.m.: The Jewish Community Book Fair presents Kathy Kacer, Toronto-based author of "To Hope and Back: The Journey of The St. Louis" (Second Story Press), a book for young readers describing the 1939 voyage of the ocean liner filled with Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany that was refused entry, first to Cuba, then every other North and South American port, and "Restitution" (Second Story), a historical novel based on the real life story of a Canadian Jewish family's journey to reclaim four beautiful oil paintings that were lost during the Holocaust.
