Nickname: Marauders (4-5)

Coach: Tim Majka, 3rd season

Outlook: Senior LB/TE Kyle Utegg recorded 103 tackles last year and is among five starters back on both sides of the ball. Joining Utegg with three years on the varsity are WR/DE Kevin Holmes, and two-way linemen Julian Richmond and Zack Jankowski. QB Clayton Cieslewicz will look to throw to Bryan McCoy and Mike Donaldson, along with Eddie Marshall out of the backfield. RB/LB Edwin Gomez (5 tackles per game average) returns after starting last year as a sophomore. Senior OL/DL Ivan Soto will be in the trenches along with sophomore Dominic Hitchcock, who started in last year's season finale.

Nickname: Blue Devils (4-6)

Coach: Tim Wade, 8th season

Outlook: The Blue Devils are posed for a big year with 14 starters returning. The team's success rests with a trio of seniors -- FB/LB Jon Alston (captain), OG/DL Calvin Nemec (captain) and TE/SS Chris Bourne. The Blue Devils are going with junior Alec Hibit at QB/S. The backfield has some depth with D.J. Miller, Evan Horton and Craig Bourur. Underclassmen going both ways on the line are Grant Haffedon and D.J. Williams.

Nickname: Raiders (7-2)

Coach: Chuck Tilley, 3rd season

Outlook: A veteran line and plenty of depth in the backfield bodes well for the Raiders. The line includes seniors Gavin Hunter, Tyler Baker, Mitch Eck and Bryan Agle. The backfield will be a five-man rotation with Rick Krause, Mitch Dobson, Mike Saratori, Brady Birmington and Alex Smythe, who is an all-state wrestler. Senior Ryan John, a league all-star at kicker last year, will also be called on at TE/DE. Sharing the snaps will be Krause and Matt Bylie. Mark Fiorella, Zack Wisniewski and John Lindsey will take turns at FB. Senior QB Brett Wilder is out for the season after tearing his ACL playing lacrosse. A small junior class leaves the Raiders with a roster of 21.

Nickname: Huskies (2-6)

Coach: Mike Kane, 22nd season

Outlook: The Huskies have tremendous speed in the backfield with all-star senior RB Maleke Fuentes (4. 5/4 0) and at WR with senior Tyler Plaud (4.5), who competed at last spring's state track meet. Senior LB/TE Marcus Dwaileebe, who qualified for the wrestling states last winter, added about 20 pounds. Senior FB/LB Greg Kahle can also play guard. Senior T/DE Roger Wangelin is a solid two-way starter. Senior TE/LB Kyle George was among last year's leading tacklers. Option QB Pat Scholla started last year as a sophomore. Senior RG/LB Arthur Peterson cover a lot of ground.

Nickname: Panthers (7-2)

Coach: Jim Duprey, 10th season

Outlook: All-league linebackers Tony Lock and Corey Vail, both seniors, are back from last year's defense, which gave up just 11.4 ppg. On offense, Lock averaged 17.8 yards per catch and Vail rushed for over 400 yards. They are among 12 returning starters along with RB/S Nate Woodruff. He was also the team's top punt and kickoff specialist. The Panthers have some nice size up front with senior Mike Prevorse (6-0, 280) and junior Connor Johnson (6-3, 300). The Panthers look to repeat as Class B South co-champs, a title they shared with Lackawanna at 6-1.

Coach: John Sopko, 2nd season

Outlook: The Griffins boast seniors at many of the key positions. Senior RB/DB/K/P Cody Schweickert won't come off the field. Senior RB/DB Derrick Benz also returns punts and kickoffs. Senior Matt Wolcott (captain) is a solid option QB. Chris Phinney returns at FB and also will play LB. Back on the O-line are seniors Troy Studd, Tyler Bursee (captain) and Jon Dygert.
