Nickname: Bulldogs (6-3)
Coach: Jason Kolb, 10th season
Outlook: RB/LB Corvonte Jones is the "real deal," according to Kolb. FB/LB Robert Sanders (225 pounds) will use the additional weight he put on in the offseason to block for Jones and he'll also get some carries. Returning on the O-line are: Maleek Price, Terrell Hunter, Dexter Gill and Dante Overton. The fifth starter is Damar Dansler, a 300-pounder. "We're hoping a tough, physical line and returning backfield will be a good recipe for us," said Kolb. Joseph Goodman, Deshawn Harmon, Joseph Reeves and James Tubbins are among 11 returning starters. Jesse Foster moves from DE to LB and will be a defensive captain.
