Outlook: The Engineers look to build around senior safety Tre'Von Tubbins and senior RB Demetruis Hodge. Lineman Nars Abdullah among five returning starters on offense. Robert Graves is a promising WR, and the secondary will look to WR/CB/RB Peandre Fitzgerald. The Engineers are joined by players from daVinci and Emerson.

Coach: Rich Harris, 11th season

Outlook: DE Nico Burgos is coming off 4.5 sacks last year. OL/DL Brandon Lathrop, at 6-foot-6, 275 pounds, will be in the hunt for the Trench Trophy. Offenses will have to account for safety Nick Hersey, last year's team leader in tackles with 68. RB Martin Bailey rushed for 999 yards last season. Marcus Lobdell brings 4.6 speed to the QB position. One of the team leaders is Tyler Novo, a center and MLB.

Outlook: Kicker Kyle Few made good on 7-of-11 field goal attempts, including a 47-yarder on the turf at Riverside. CB/WR Ezra Nwachukwu had six interceptions last season and will match up against an opponent's best wideout. Junior lineman Khari Demos, who started last year at RT, moves to LT. He's 6-4, 245. Lockport native QB/WR/S/P Luke Hinton has transferred from Canisius.

Coach: Don Bass, 5th season

Outlook: Bass said he has a stronger line this season and added that the team needs to limit the number of turnovers. A pair of 250-pound senior tackles, Marris Winkfield and Ian Sinclair, look to open holes for speedy RB Jeff Goldsmith. A pair of seniors who will be counted on heavily are SB Johnny Newton and WR Paris Scott. Wolverines have talent from 6-1 JV squad in camp.

Coach: Jim Hagerty, 1st season

Outlook: Twelve starters return. Three seniors expected to lift the defense are LB Jake Kelly, DE Mahmoud Zeidan and S Marty Pitman. The Falcons have a star at RB/CB in Eddie Starr. He'll be joined in the backfield with Alec Cody. Getting plenty of snaps on the DL will be Dan Miera and Sean Sutton. Falcons move up from Class A.

Outlook: A young O-line will be anchored by returning starters RT Ed Slowinski and C Anthony Gatewood. Ondre Ryles is effective at both DE and LB and might get some carries at FB. Ryan Courton gets his turn to start at LB. Junior Yusef Burgos is a returning starter at DB. The team includes talent from Seneca, City Honors, OTC Middle College and Buffalo Arts.
