East Side home invasion
Buffalo police are releasing surveillance photos in connection with the Saturday evening home invasion on Longview Avenue on the East Side. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. Police are releasing surveillance photos of at least three persons of interest. One appears to be wearing a gray or white hoodie; the other a red or pink hoodie and the third a jacket with a possible scarf. Detectives are also releasing photos of a dark-colored minivan that may have been used by the suspects. During the home invasion, a 96-year-old man was attacked and assaulted, suffering a broken jaw and other injuries. He remains in fair condition at ECMC.
