A Golabki pierogi was the entry from Carol Ann Cepuchowski in the pierogi-making contest at the Polish Dozynki festival at the Corpus Christi Church on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014. This pierogi reimagined the traditional Polish delicacy as a giant dough-robed dumpling served in a cabbage-leaf bowl. Other Pierogi innovations included Buffalo Chicken Wing, Philly Cheese and the Sweet Potato Surprise featuring mascarpone cheese and chopped pecans. (Harry Scull Jr/Buffalo News)
