Sugar City opening on Niagara Street

Buy News photos |

After two years without a home, Sugar City Arts Collaborative celebrated its new space at 1239 Niagara St. before shuffling over to Resurgence Brewing Co. for a nearby after-party. The first segment of the party welcomed music from Tracy Morrow and Magi Chippi, The Blood, Johns and a new group called Brass Pro and the Waterfront Revivalists. New Jersey artist Marissa Paternoster showcased her art exhibition connected to the band Screaming Females, too. At the West Side brewery, DJs spun hits from decade-specific music.
