Ice 'shoves' at Crystal Beach


Greg Pyatt of Port Colborne snaps a photo of his son Nathan on an ice formation at Crystal Beach in Canada on Saturday. These formations, technically, are “ice shoves.” They come in all shapes and sizes, some as high as 12 feet tall, others just a few feet high, with openings big enough for several people to walk or crawl through at a time.
