Buffalo's 'Monuments Men'


Patrick J. Kelleher, curator of Albright Art Gallery collections from 1950 to 1954, with gallery director Edgar C. Schenck in a 1952 photo. Kelleher was among the 345 “Monuments Men” whose mission was to find and return art treasures looted in Europe by the Nazis during World War II.
