Oct. 14, 1962: President John F. Kennedy visited Buffalo to participate in the Pulaski Day parade. While in Buffalo, Kennedy spoke to a crowd of 100,000 in Niagara Square about the dangers of Communism, and honored Polish soldiers who fought and died in the American Revolution.
