Bug Works at science museum

Buy News photos |

Bug Works, a science studio with interactive exhibits, opened Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at the Museum of Science. The Sparks room, which combines science and art, had a wiggly bug activity. The children used live Madagascar hissing cockroaches to make paintings. The cockroaches walked through a non-toxic paint and then walked around on a piece of paper. Aontanae McCutcheon, 10, of Buffalo, was more interested in holding the cockroach than using it for her masterpiece. (Sharon Cantillon/Buffalo News)
