Abraham Lincoln display

Buy News photos |

From left: Ed Tormay and Ed McGreevy, both of Youngstown, look at an item of the "Abraham Lincoln Life Mask and Hands" exhibit in the lobby of the Amherst Theatre in the University Plaza, Buffalo, on Friday. Items in the display were created two days after Lincoln was nominated for president in 1860, and includes a campaign ribbon bearing a likeness of Lincoln taken from a photograph by Matthew Brady on the day he made his famous Cooper Union Speech earlier that year. The Lincoln artifacts accompany the opening of Steven Spielberg's film, "Lincoln." The artifacts were provided by the Buffalo History Museum. {John Hickey / Buffalo News}
