WHEATFIELD – A box containing 11 antique rings valued at $30,000 was stolen Friday afternoon from a Shawnee Road jewelry store, Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies said.

At the time, an employee of Asti’s Antique Jewelry was assisting a customer when three women with a child entered the store about 3 p.m., deputies said. Meanwhile, the customer told the employee he had to check with his wife, in his car, before making a final decision on a purchase. the man never returned to the store and the women and child also left the store, deputies said.

The man was seen driving, accompanied by a woman, shortly after the rings were discovered missing, deputies added.
