Ask parents to help out with breakfast cleanup

We all know that breakfast is an integral part of a sharp mind for children’s education. In these tough economic times, some families are not able to provide this meal and depend on the breakfast program to keep their children alert and focused on learning.

I can understand the concern of the teachers as the time spent on cleanup is less time they can focus on the important part of the teaching process. Why not have concerned parents on a voluntary basis attend these breakfasts each day to assist in the cleanup? I know I would if I had a child who might lose this valuable program.
