Court is right to reject Bloomberg’s soda ban

An appeals court has ruled that New York City’s ban on big sodas is unconstitutional. Mayor Michael Bloomberg started this by trying to get involved in something that we as people should be able to decide for ourselves.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that everyone out there makes the right decisions on the food they eat or drink. But to waste taxpayers’ money on limiting the size of what we eat and drink is an abomination considering the real problems of this state.

Now he and City Health Commissioner Thomas Farley plan to file an appeal to this decision. People are limited from making frivolous lawsuits. Someone should stop Bloomberg and Farley from appealing this decision, unless they plan on paying for it with their own money. Stop wasting the taxpayers’ money.
