A back-to-school program at the Westminster Community Charter School has been postponed due to a recent fire.
The Good for the Neighborhood event is a program of Independent Health Foundation and was scheduled to be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the School.
A fire caused extensive damage to the school on Monday.
“We have developed a great partnership with Westminster Community Charter School through our Good for the Neighborhood program, and our thoughts are with the staff, students and community members affected by the fire,” said Carrie Meyer, the foundation’s executive director. “Most importantly, we are grateful no one was injured.”
The event will be rescheduled for a later date. Details on the new date will be available at www.facebook.com/independenthealthfoundation.
