KENMORE, N.Y. (AP) — A western New York school teacher has admitted using a cellphone to send an X-rated picture of himself to a 14-year-old student.
Local media outlets report 42-year-old William Kuhn of the town of Tonawanda pleaded guilty Wednesday to a felony charge of disseminating indecent material to minors and resigned from his job as a teacher and band director at the Kenmore Middle School in suburban Buffalo.
Authorities say he sent the photo of his genitals in April.
Kuhn faces 1 1/3 to 4 years in prison when he's sentenced on Oct. 24 in Erie County Court. He also agreed to surrender his teaching license.
The school is in the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District.
