A steamroller will be the big attraction as the Western New York Book Arts Center, 468 Washington St., hosts its annual Buffalo BookFest from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

The weight of the steamroller, donated by Lehigh Construction, will be used to make prints on cloth as it rolls over giant woodcut blocks created by artists Jodi Hamman and Christine Gallisdorfer, Jennifer Farrell, Keegan Onefoot-Wenkman and Tom Rooney.

The festival also will feature an artist market and vendor fair with handmade crafts and locally published specialty books, along with free hands-on demonstrations of papermaking, paper marbling, lino-cuts, bookbinding, screen printing and origami for kids. Lloyd Taco Truck will be on hand from noon to 3 p.m. Admission is free.
