NEW YORK (AP) — Police say a New York City chef and restaurateur has been found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in a car in Pennsylvania.
Colin Devlin owns the trendy Williamsburg eatery DuMont and DuMont Burger. He also owned a more upscale eatery called Dressler which closed in June after seven years in business because an agreement could not be reached on lease renewal, according to the restaurant's website.
Police say the 42-year-old was reported missing and had been last seen leaving his Williamsburg home on Wednesday at about 2:25 p.m. wearing a green shirt and blue jeans.
His body was discovered Thursday in Fogelsville, Pa. in a family car. The gun was recovered.
Pennsylvania state police are investigating.
