Community Action Organization of Erie County is hosting a public information meeting to discuss the future development of the former Deaconess Hospital site.

Deaconess Heights, the proposed housing development for the property includes up to 75 units of low-to-moderate income housing, green space, outdoor gathering places and on-site parking overlooking Martin Luther King Park.

During the meeting, residents will have the opportunity to meet CAO representatives and the development team, as well as the chance to get information about the CAO Housing Improvement and Resource Program, which assists neighbors with home energy audits and housing renovations.

The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 555 Northampton St.
